Robert K. Dyer, MD, MPH

Dr. Dyer is a native Rhode Islander who earned his medical degree from Brown University Medical School . He completed an internship in Medicine and a residency in Dermatology at Brown Medical School training programs. He also earned a Master of Public Health degree, with a concentration in Quantitative Methods, from the Harvard School of Public Health . He is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology . Dr. Dyer has privileges at South County Hospital Rhode Island Hospital Miriam Hospita l , the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Providence, and Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology , the Dermatology Foundation , the American Medical Association , and RI Medical Association , the New England Dermatologic Society , and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society. He is a volunteer attending dermatologist at the Rhode Island Hospital Dermatology Clinic . Vincent D. Criscione, MD

Dr. Criscione is a native of South Kingstown, RI, and earned his medical degree at Brown University Medical School , where he was inducted into the highly selective Alpha Omega Alpha Society . He completed his internship in Medicine at Roger Williams Hospital Boston University School of Medicine and his residency in Dermatology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he was chief resident during his final year of residency. He is board certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology , the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery , the Medical Dermatology Society , the Dermatology Foundation , the New England Dermatology Society, the Rhode Island Dermatology Society, the American Medical Association, and the Rhode Island Medical Society. Beatriz Tapia-Centola, MD

Dr. Tapia-Centola

Dr. Tapia-Centola was born and raised in Mexico City where she earned her medical degree from Universidad La Salle. She has completed extensive training in anatomic pathology and dermatopathology throughout Mexico and the United States, including an anatomic pathology residency through Yale New Haven Hospital/Yale University School of Medicine and fellowships in dermatopathology at New York University Medical Center and Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Tapia-Centola has made significant contributions to the field of dermatopathology, sharing her work broadly through publications, presentations and lectures. She is a member of numerous local and national medical societies and routinely participates in their educational meetings and fundraising events. She is Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology. She and her family enjoy traveling and exploring diverse cuisines. When they are not attending Patriots and Celtics games, they enjoy going for walks with their dog, a three-year-old Lakeland terrier that has his own Instagram account.


Jennifer Lambe, MD

Dr. Lambe is a Dermatopathologist, originally from Connecticut.  She earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.  She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York.  She then completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at New York Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center, where she was chief resident in her final year. She finished a one year fellowship in General Oncologic Pathology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center followed by a one year Dermatopathology fellowship at the Ackerman Academy of Dermatopathology.  She is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology.

She is a member of the College of American Pathologists, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, International Society of Dermatopathology, New England Dermatological Society, and the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology. 

She enjoys many activities with her husband and two children, including mountain biking, skiing, traveling to state and national parks, paddle-boarding, and swimming.

Katie Sliney, MSPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant originally from Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Exercise Science as well as a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies, both from the University of Kentucky . She developed an interest in dermatology while working in a busy dermatology practice in Lexington. She practiced Internal Medicine in South Carolina before relocating to Rhode Island. Meighan Dingle Blanco, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is a Nurse Practitioner who is originally from southeastern Massachusetts. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University . She completed a one-year post-graduate fellowship in Dermatology at Lahey Clinic. Meighan has extensive clinical experience as a nurse in the ICU and Burn Units at New York Presbyterian Hospita l , and as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at both Lahey Clinic and at a large private dermatology practice in nearby Massachusetts. Nancy Staley, PA-C

Nancy Staley, PA-C is our newest Physician Assistant and works primarily in our Westerly Office. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Society from Cornell University . She then worked as a medical assistant for a private dermatology practice in New York before attending LeMoyne College , where she completed her training to become a physician assistant. She has practiced as a physician assistant in Connecticut and Rhode Island since 2001 and has over 15 years of experience working in general, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants , and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society . She is a Diplomat Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She frequently precepts local PA students. In her spare time she enjoys sailing, hiking, gardening and golfing.


Jennifer Johnson, APRN, NP-BC

Jennifer Johnson, APRN, NP-BC is a Nurse Practitioner who works in our Narragansett office. She has nearly 20 years of medical dermatology experience.

Jennifer received her Masters in Nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital School of Health Professions in Boston. She was a primary care provider in the VA Health Care System for more than 7 years before her move to Rhode Island in 2000. It was then that she began her work in the specialty of medical dermatology.

Jennifer is a member of the Dermatology Nursing Association, American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Rhode Island Dermatology Society. In her leisure time she enjoys gardening, cooking and kayaking.


Lauren Volpe, MSPAS, PA-C


Lauren Volpe, MSPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant and a native Rhode Islander. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Rhode Island and later joined the practice as a medical assistant. After several years of working for South County Dermatology, Lauren pursued a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University. She is a member of the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her free time, Lauren enjoys gardening, skiing, hiking, and boating.


Tori Jedson, MSPAS, PA-C


Tori Jedson, MSPAS, PA-C is a Physician Assistant, originally from Rhode Island. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at Fairfield University and then went on to earn her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Johnson & Wales University. She has been working in dermatology since graduation. She is a member and Diplomat Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
